Job Description

The Bartender is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external customers. This includes serving beverages to guests and cocktail servers while ensuring excellent customer relations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, positively engaging with customers and colleagues, and handling difficult situations with resilience.
• Maintain organization of company funds and equipment.
• Pour drinks according to recipes; keep the work environment clean and safe.
• Demonstrate product offerings and proper ordering procedures.
• Monitor supply levels at the bar.
• Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
• Ensure the security and accuracy of the assigned bank, managing overages and shortages.
• Open and close the bar following established procedures.
• Supervise and direct bar attendants as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in mixing a wide variety of drinks.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of bar equipment operation.
• Ability to lead and direct cocktail servers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications per regulations.
• Indiana ABC Liquor License required.
• Previous bartending experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

The position typically requires completion of an accredited bartending course or two years of high-volume cocktail service experience, preferably in a hotel or casino environment.
