Job summary

Rocking K, located in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a part‑time Bartender/Server to join Troon’s hospitality leadership. You will prepare beverages, assist with menu development, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a GED/HS diploma and 1–3 months related experience; familiarity with POS systems is a plus, and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism is essential. Weekend shifts and events may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with restaurant POS systems (POSITOUCH and MICROS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar, mix and serve beverages, assist with cost control and inventory.
• Help create seasonal cocktails and menu development.
• Manage social media content scheduling and posts for the department.
• Maintain inventory control and communicate needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Handle cash and POS transactions; manage opening/closing duties.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, youll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

General Purpose:

Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

Essential Duties:

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintains inventory records.
• Assists department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu
• Assists department leaders with Social Media schedule and creation of content
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but is not limited to inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
• On occasion will serve meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g. POSITOUCH and MICROS)

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and current trends in industry and marketplace
• Possesses the knowledge of cocktail recipes
• Professional and courteous demeanor
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values
• Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees, clients and vendors
• Fluent in English speaking, writing and understanding
• Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
