Role Description

The Bartender/Server is a part‑time, on‑site role located at Frankfort Country Club in Frankfort, KY. This position is responsible for greeting members and guests, taking food and beverage orders, preparing and serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks, and ensuring accurate POS entry and payment handling. Day‑to‑day tasks include setting up and breaking down bar and dining areas, maintaining cleanliness and organization of service stations, and monitoring inventory and stock levels. The Bartender/Server will provide attentive table service, address member requests, follow club standards and responsible alcohol service guidelines, and collaborate with kitchen and event staff to support daily operations and special functions.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, hospitality, and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor toward members and guests.
• Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately, use POS systems, and manage tabs and receipts efficiently.
• Knowledge of basic bartending techniques, drink preparation, and responsible alcohol service; relevant certifications (e.g., local alcohol server permit) preferred.
• Experience in food and beverage service, including carrying trays, serving multiple tables, and coordinating with kitchen staff in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail in cleanliness, organization, and presentation of bar and dining areas, following health and safety regulations.
• Reliability in working full‑time shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Prior experience in a country club, restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality setting is beneficial; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
