Bartender (Seasonal) - Island-inspired boutique resort on Shelter Island

Join us as a Seasonal Bartender at Kona Kai San Diego Resort, a boutique urban resort located on Shelter Island. With 170 guestrooms, our resort features Vessel Restaurant + Bar, SpaTerre, a marina, and a private club, all just minutes from downtown San Diego. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to be part of our island-inspired culture, serve with purpose, and enjoy the serenity of waterfront views surrounded by lush gardens and calm waters.

Role Details

Reports to: F&B Manager, Restaurant General Manager & Executive Chef

Responsibilities
  • Serve beverages efficiently with a friendly attitude
  • Craft cocktails and manage bar orders
  • Maintain a clean, inviting bar environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications
  • Previous bartending experience required
  • Valid TIPS/Food Handlers and California RBS Certifications
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus
  • Ability to respond quickly to guest needs
  • Positive attitude, team player, eager to learn
  • Flexible hours and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors during summer
Additional Information

Salary: $17.25/hour
