Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality LLC is seeking a Seasonal Bartender to craft cocktails and serve food with warmth in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Responsibilities include engaging guests, preparing beverages, handling payments, maintaining bar organization and inventory, and ensuring cleanliness and safety of the bar and equipment. The role offers tips in addition to hourly pay and requires relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Completion of Bartending School or Bartending & Mixology Certification preferred.
• Minimum 1-year Bartender experience in a similar role; hotel experience preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required.
• Food Handlers Certification required.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide our guests with exceptional service through genuine engagement and thoughtful attentiveness
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently for each guest
• Maintain daily organization of the bar, ensuring all products are stocked and readily accessible
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas

Wage: Hourly $10.70 plus tips

Physical Demands

• Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 - 75lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk in confined space for entire shift
• Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Completion of Bartending School or Bartending & Mixology Certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum 1-year Bartender experience in a similar role, size of operation required, hotel experience preferred
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
• Food Handlers Certification required
