Job summary

Cocopah is seeking a bartender to mix drinks, take orders, and deliver excellent customer service in a bar setting. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working in a noisy, smoky environment while adhering to Arizona liquor laws.

The position calls for English fluency, basic math skills, and flexible availability to cover shifts, including weekends. Prior high school completion is preferred, with at least 6 months in related roles beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must stand and walk a minimum of 8 hours daily.
• Must lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
• Must speak, read, and write English.
• Must work in an environment containing excessive noise and smoke.
• Must know about the Arizona Liquor Laws.
• Must have an open availability to cover shifts or work during regular days off, if needed.
• Ability to do basic math; provide correct change when needed.

SUMMARY

• All applicants must be at least 19 years of age.
• Must have a current Health Card or be able to obtain a Health Card.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 6 months of work experience in a related field is preferred
