Position Summary

Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non‑alcoholic. The role requires a personable, professional individual who can work in an ever‑changing fast‑paced environment, maintain excellent attendance, and be available for scheduled events per business need.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co‑workers, and uniform standards.
• Follow the bar pre‑shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures, including state/federal regulations pertaining to alcohol distribution.
• Learn and possess knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits available, and suggestively upsell products to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size.
• Check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverage purchase.
• Communicate cut‑off to a guest as required.
• Listen and respond to any customer requests or concerns.
• De‑escalate intoxicated guest situations; contact management or security if a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity.
• Contact a management member if unable to resolve or make a decision beyond standard decision‑making scope.
• Request additional products or restock products as required.
• Handle cash accurately; be responsible for issuing bank at the bar.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including setup and breakdown of bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization.
