Bartender - Part-Time - Fort Smith Convention Center

Join us at Oak View Group as a Bartender - Part-Time - Fort Smith Convention Center. This role offers an hourly pay of $15 plus tips, with benefits including a 401(k) plan and matching.

Position Overview

The Bartender is responsible for serving all beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, in a professional and personable manner. The role requires excellent attendance, flexibility to work scheduled events, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service, interact positively with co-workers, and adhere to uniform standards.
• Follow pre-shift notes and bar menus to serve drinks accordingly.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all legal and safety procedures, including ID verification and responsible pouring.
• Upsell products by knowing various beer, wine, and spirit options.
• Handle cash accurately and manage a cash bank.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and ensure equipment is well maintained.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar, restocking as needed.
• De-escalate situations involving intoxicated guests and involve management/security when necessary.
• Respond to customer requests and concerns professionally.

Qualifications
