Responsibilities

  • Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
  • Promote and recommend beverages, cocktails, and specials to enhance the guest experience.
  • Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales and guest satisfaction.
  • Engage guests in a friendly and professional manner while providing beverage recommendations.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service practices.
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, federal, and company alcohol service regulations.
  • Process beverage transactions, accept payments, and obtain comp authorizations when applicable.
  • Balance cash registers and complete end-of-shift reconciliation.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of bar areas and equipment.
  • Properly operate beverage systems and beer/wine equipment.
  • Adhere to inventory and stock control procedures.
  • Assist in developing beverage specials and promotional offerings.
  • Support training and development of beverage team members.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum one (1) year of bartending experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, casino, nightclub, or fine dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, spirits, beer, and wine.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
  • Knowledge of craft cocktails and current beverage trends (preferred).
  • Previous casino or hospitality industry experience (preferred).Bilingual communication skills (preferred).
