Position Summary and Responsibilities

• Preparing, pouring, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Following standard recipes for beverage preparation
• Inspecting the bar before opening to ensure supplies are stocked
• Adhering to all laws and club policies regarding alcohol service and notifying management of any concerns

Note: We are a non-tipping establishment.

Qualification Standards

The candidate must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Expertise in mixology, including food/wine pairings and presentation
• Basic knowledge of POS systems (preferred)
• Understanding of club operations, events, and hours
• Ability to interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Capability to work independently or as part of a team during events
• Food Handlers Certification (required)

Education

• High school diploma; some college preferred
• Alcohol beverage certification
• Food safety certification

Experience

• Minimum one year of bartending experience
• Legal age to serve alcohol
• Previous club experience (preferred)
