Job summary

Grinders Above and Beyond in Alliance, OH is seeking a part-time server to join our family-style team. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience with knowledge of cocktails, beer and wine.

After training, you will know all items on the menu, keep the bar organized and stocked, handle payments, and support fellow staff. Flexible hours and benefits are offered to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic cocktails, beer and wine.
• After training, will have knowledge of all food and beverage items offered on menu.
• Greet guests with a warm, friendly smile and go above and beyond to make sure they have the best dining experience.
• Arranges and sets up guests tables.
• Keeps bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Responsible for having server bank, counting back change, cashing out guests.
• Must be able to perform all job descriptions and tasks assigned by management.
• Team player and helps support other staff in their duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Assist with seating and table setup to optimize service flow.
• Maintain bar area cleanliness and organization, restock as needed.
• Handle payments and assist with cash handling tasks.
• Support fellow staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Adhere to safety and restaurant policies during all shifts.
