Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an experienced bartender to join our hotel bar team, delivering upscale service, crafting cocktails, and creating memorable guest experiences in premium hotel settings and rooftop bars.

You will maintain a clean station, master the cocktail menu, handle payments, and support a safe, teamwork-focused environment. Prior hotel/rooftop bar experience is preferred; training may be provided for the right candidate.

• Previous bartending experience preferred; hotel/ rooftop background a plus; training possible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests — building personal connections through friendly conversation and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station and complete daily side work per health standards.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and garnishes; answer guest questions.
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation.
• Process payments (cash, card, digital) and complete end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Promote teamwork and a safe, positive work environment.
• Card guests and monitor responsible service to prevent overservice and comply with liquor laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests — building personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive drink recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station; complete daily bar cleaning and side work to health and safety standards
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the full cocktail menu, beer and wine selections, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes — confidently answering guest questions
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation that meets guest expectations every time
• Accurately process all payment methods — cash, card, and digital — and complete end-of-shift reconciliation
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment
• Card all guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to prevent overservice and ensure liquor law compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned
