Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an experienced bartender to join our hotel bar team. You will craft cocktails, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and thrive in a high-energy, upscale bar environment across our premium hotels and rooftops.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for hospitality, knowledge of drinks, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a full-time role with scheduling flexibility and benefits through DailyPay and our company app.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, social personality with a passion for hospitality.
• Experience in bartending preferred (hotel/restaurant rooftop a plus).
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service.
• Ability to stand and move at fast pace; evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bar service and build guest connections.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and perform daily side work.
• Know the full cocktail menu and assist guests with recommendations.
• Ensure consistent beverage quality and presentation.
• Process payments and complete end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Promote teamwork and a safe work environment.
• Monitor responsible alcohol service and comply with liquor laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests — building personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive drink recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station; complete daily bar cleaning and side work to health and safety standards
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the full cocktail menu, beer and wine selections, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes — confidently answering guest questions
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation that meets guest expectations every time
• Accurately process all payment methods — cash, card, and digital — and complete end-of-shift reconciliation
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment
• Card all guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to prevent overservice and ensure liquor law compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Sharp attention to detail — from cocktail presentation to guest satisfaction
• A positive, can-do attitude and team-player mindset
• Previous bartending experience preferred — hotel, restaurant, or rooftop bar backgrounds a plus; willing to train the right candidate
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service practices
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
