Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Bartender Non-Tipped at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. You will provide exceptional customer service, mix and serve drinks quickly and efficiently, and collaborate with waitstaff to ensure fast service.

The role requires 0–1 year of relevant experience, ability to stand for long periods, and the minimum age to serve alcohol. On-call part-time position with afternoon/evenings shifts and flexible benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol as per local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, mix and serve drinks with and without alcohol, and craft drinks with appropriate garnishes.
• Ensure the bar area is stocked with tools and products needed to mix and serve.
• Prepare accurate opening counts and place inventory or purchasing orders to replenish supplies.
• Bartenders must be cordial, diplomatic, and attentive with customers.
