Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Bartender Non-Tipped at the University of Vermont. This on-call part-time role requires delivering friendly customer service, crafting and serving drinks quickly, and coordinating with servers.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 0–1 year of relevant experience, ability to mix drinks correctly, and compliance with local alcohol service age requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma of high school or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year of relevant bartending or service experience.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of beverage recipes and mix drinks correctly.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol per local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive guests, mix and serve drinks with and without alcohol and create drink recipes with proper garnishes.
• Ensure the bar area is fully equipped with tools and products for mixing and serving drinks.
• Prepare accurate opening counts and place inventory or purchasing orders as needed to replenish supplies.
• Bartenders should be cordial, tactful and attentive to customers.
• Significant walking or movement is required.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods during a shift, potentially exceeding 8 hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull, and frequently lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive movements.
• Attend work on time for scheduled shifts and show reliability.
• Other tasks may be assigned and may vary by account.

Pay Range: $22 per hour - $28 per hour
