Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club is seeking a Bartender for the Masters Tournament. The role focuses on preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with Club standards and recipes, while maintaining stock controls and garnishing drinks.

You will greet members and guests professionally and support opening/closing duties. The position requires attention to safety, sanitation, and teamwork, with flexibility for extended hours around the event.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• TIPS certification preferred.
• Experience in bartending required.
• Knowledge of mixology terminology and beverage service.
• Strong interpersonal skills for team environments.
• Ability to work in heat, cold, rain or adverse conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Displays integrity and sincerity.

Responsibilities

• Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to Club recipes and standards.
• Maintains records of liquor, beer, wine, cigars and sundries to ensure stock levels.
• Prepares garnishes for drinks.
• Stocks glassware, paper products and ice.
• Secures all alcoholic beverages and products at end of shift.
• Prepares accurate orders as designated by the POS system.
• Practices safe service to avoid overserving patrons.
• Performs opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Maintains, cleans and secures beverage service areas and bars per procedures.
• Ensures safety, sanitation and emergency policies are observed.
• Reports any violations to leadership.
• Greets and directs members, players, caddies and patrons professionally.
