Job summary

Springhill Suites by Marriott is seeking an experienced bartender to join our hotel team. The role requires maintaining Marriott-style service, handling transactions, and ensuring a clean, organized bar area while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will have prior bartending or hospitality experience, be at least 21, and able to obtain KY STAR Certification before orientation, with the flexibility for varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior bartending or hospitality bar experience required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain KY STAR Certification prior to orientation.
• Hands-on bartending practical exam during interview process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per hotel standards.
• Maintain adherence to measured pour policies.
• Provide exceptional guest service in a professional hospitality environment.
• Keep bar clean, stocked, and organized throughout shifts.
• Handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Follow all alcohol service laws and hotel policies.
• Maintain bar and dining area cleanliness including surfaces, coolers, and glassware.
• Deliver BIG Service to internal and external guests.
