Job summary

Kalamazoo Country Club is seeking a bartender-in-training, with a path through Host, Server Assistant, Banquet Server, and Server to progress to bartender.

You will mix and serve drinks to members and guests per approved recipes, stock and maintain the bar, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout shifts. Training covers safety, club policies, and beverage service standards.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience preferred.
• TIPS certification or certifiable.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Knowledge of safety and health rules for beverage service.

Responsibilities

• Mix, prepare, and serve drinks to members and guests per standard recipes.
• Stock bar and maintain clean, organized setup.
• Greet members and guests and attend to beverage service needs.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling and rotation of liquids to prevent spoilage.
• Follow club policies and health/safety regulations and participate in staff meetings.

Job DescriptionOverviewBefore training to be a bartender we will train you in the areas of Host, Server Assistant, Banquet Server, and Server as you obtain the knowledge necessary to progress and become a bartender at Kalamazoo Country Club.
