Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Bartender’s duties include, but are not limited to, mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of each bar area according to established policies. They will ensure a positive guest experience and interact with guests in a cordial and gracious manner.

Service Initiative

• Create a fun-filled, entertaining environment with the five F’s - Fast, Fun, Friendly, Fresh, and Focused
• Treat Guests with care and recognize frequent Guests
• Inform Supervisor of Guest needs requiring special accommodations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
• Welcome and thank Guests, seek ways to make them comfortable, and encourage return visits
• Present a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
• Stay informed about services, promotions, and events
• Handle concerns and disputes professionally, maintaining financial responsibility
• Promote positive relations and create an enjoyable atmosphere
• Ensure a safe work environment and report deficiencies
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors, Guests, and coworkers
• Create a safe, professional, and friendly work environment
• Comply with Gaming Regulations and departmental policies
• Support responsible gaming and alcohol service, reporting concerns appropriately

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare drinks according to recipes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Mixology certification required
• At least 2 years of high-volume bartending experience; T.I.P.S. and Sanitation certifications preferred
• Basic math skills for handling transactions

Work Environment

• Exposure to casino-related factors like smoke and noise
• Frequent standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Fast-paced, crowded, noisy environment

Closing

Preference given to Native Americans, especially Seminole Tribe members, in employment practices. Final candidates must pass a background check including credit and criminal checks.
