Job summary

Midas Hospitality in Kansas is seeking a friendly Bartender to support our hotel bar and restaurant operations. You will prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, handle guest transactions, and maintain a clean, welcoming bar area in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of responsible alcohol service, can work a flexible schedule, and thrives on delivering prompt, professional service to hotel guests and restaurant patrons.

Qualifications

• Must meet the legal age requirement to prepare and serve alcohol in the state of operation.
• Ability to perform essential bartender duties safely, accurately, and consistently.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation, responsible alcohol service, sanitation, and guest-service standards preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, associates, and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge guests promptly and provide welcoming, attentive service.
• Take beverage and food orders from guests or servers accurately and efficiently.
• Mix, prepare, and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, standards, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
• Process guest payments accurately and immediately for all applicable transactions.
• Request identification when required and follow all legal age verification and alcohol service requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area throughout the shift.
• Order, requisition, restock, and organize liquor, beverages, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies as needed.
