The Cypress of Charlotte is seeking a hospitality‑focused Bartender to join our fine dining team on a full‑time basis. You will deliver bar service in our community cocktail lounge and contribute to a warm, engaging atmosphere for residents and guests.

Qualified applicants are at least 21, have prior bartending experience in refined settings, and excel at teamwork and courteous service. The Cypress offers comprehensive benefits, competitive pay, and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers; requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
• Read/write/understand English; follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders and provides service; answers questions about drinks.
• Clears tables and bar after service.
• Cleans glassware, dishes, ashtrays and distributors.
• Stocks and rotates supplies.
• Prepares garnishes for bar use and snack trays.

Position: Bartender, full-time

Schedule: Open Availability; schedule varies up to 30 hours a week and includes working nights, weekends and holidays. Shift schedules includes: Monday - Saturday, from 11am - 7:30pm. Every other Saturday is required.

Pay: $19-$20 an hour, based on experience

Position Summary:

The Cypress of Charlotteis recruiting for a hospitality focused Bartender to join our fine dining culinary team on a full-time basis! This role is responsible for bar service in the Community cocktail lounge.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answers pertinent questions about drink items.
• Clears all tableware from tables and bar after service.
• Cleans all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays, and distributors.
• Stocks, restocks and rotates supplies.
• Prepares garnishes for bar use. Prepares snack trays.
• Maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges.
• Assists supervisor with inventory of supplies.
• Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for our residents and their guests.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide sevice and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in
  English.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Light to moderate physical effort 90% of the time. Must be able to stand and walk 90% of the work day; ability to stoop, bend and stretch frequently; must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently. Must be able to see, hear, and speak.
