Job summary

Charlotte Country Club is seeking a bartender to provide a highly personalized experience for members. The role requires availability during evenings, holidays, and weekends. You will craft cocktails, understand classic drinks, and ensure bar cleanliness along with setup and break down for events.

The position emphasizes exceptional customer service, wine/beer/cocktail knowledge, and teamwork with the service staff during events and banquets. A friendly, professional attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Bartending and beverage presentation experience required.
• Experience in food and beverage, preferably upscale or fine dining.
• Knowledge of wine, cocktails, beer, and culinary concepts desired.
• Positive, upbeat attitude with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Create cocktails while engaging members/guests to deliver an exceptional experience.
• Understand the Club’s classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Maintain cleanliness and smooth operation of the bar program.
• Set up, breakdown, cleanliness, and replenishment of event spaces and dining rooms.
• Warmly greet each member with name recognition, smile, and direct eye contact.
• Assist the service team with closing Clubhouse events and support banquets and events.

General Description:

The Bartender is responsible for providing an exceptional, personalized experience for all members in our bars.

Availability on evenings, holidays, and weekends is expected of all staff.

Essential Functions:

• Creating cocktails while engaging with members/guests to create an unparalleled experience
• Understand the Clubs’ classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
• Ensures the total cleanliness and smooth operation of our bar program
• Setup, breakdown, cleanliness, and replenishment of event spaces and dining rooms
• Understands the importance of name recognition and warmly greets each member with a smile and direct eye contact
• Assist the service team, as needed, with closing down Clubhouse events and assists in banquets and events

Qualifications:

• Previous experience and knowledge in bartending, barbacking, and beverage presentation
• Experience working in food and beverage, preferably upscale or fine dining establishments
• Wine, cocktail, beer, and culinary knowledge is desired
• Must have a positive, upbeat, friendly attitude and enjoy providing exceptional customer service

Compensation & Benefits:
