Job summary

Montgomery Marriott Prattville Hotel & Conference Center at Capitol Hill is seeking a proactive Bartender to deliver polished beverage service in a hotel setting. You will welcome guests, prepare cocktails and drinks, and ensure smooth, attentive service that reflects Southern hospitality.

Ideal candidates have strong beverage knowledge and excellent communication skills, and you will verify IDs and serve responsibly while contributing to memorable guest experiences in our restaurant and bar

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation and service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, presentation standards, and service procedures.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, draught and bottled beer, and other beverage selections responsibly and efficiently.
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all applicable legal drinking-age requirements.
• Engage guests in genuine, professional conversation while taking orders and providing prompt, attentive service.

Position Overview

The Bartender is responsible for providing polished, attentive, and efficient beverage service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, cleanliness, safety, and responsible alcohol service. You’ll create a welcoming first impression, anticipate guest needs, prepare and present a variety of beverages, and contribute to an atmosphere that reflects the quality and character of our hotel.
