White Lodging in Chicago is seeking a friendly bartender to deliver high-quality service, create personal connections, and suggest menu items. You will maintain bar cleanliness and turnover, handle payments, and support a safe, collaborative team environment.

No prior bartending experience is required, but it is preferred. You must be able to stand for long periods and work weekends or holidays as needed. The company offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities across its hotels.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality service to guests with friendly conversation and recommendations.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and perform daily side work.
• Know menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; answer guest questions.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation.
• Process payments and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a safe work environment.
• I.D. guests and monitor beverage service to avoid overserving.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
