Job summary

Peake Tavern is seeking an energetic Bartender to join our team. You will take drink orders, mix traditional and creative cocktails, and keep the bar area inviting and clean. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, passionate about mixology, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include handling payments, maintaining inventory, and supporting bar opening/closing duties. A high school diploma and knowledge of beverages are required, with certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in food service, hospitality, or bartending preferred.
• Mixology or hospitality certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items.
• Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders.
• Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and follow all laws.
• Collect payment and operate cash register.
• Order, maintain, and restock bar supplies and ingredients.
• Open and close the bar, including cleaning.
