Job summary

ASM Global operates the Peoria Civic Center and is seeking a Bartender to deliver high-quality beverage service at events in the arena, theater, and convention spaces. The position pays the starting wage of $16.50 per hour plus tips, with benefits including paid leave and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and coordinating with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction at all events.

Qualifications

• English language competency required.

• Ability to maintain professionalism under high stress.
• State bartending licensure (BASSET) & food service certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by offering and selling high-quality beverages.
• Greet guests, answer questions, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Serve alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
• Maintain bar equipment and restock as needed for each event.
• Prepare garnishes and specialty beverages; assist with setup for events.
• Breakdown tables and equipment after events and store properly.
