Job summary

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts is hiring a Part-Time Team Member at Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA. You will greet guests, serve beverages, and operate the POS system in a friendly, professional manner.

Responsibilities include cash handling, opening/closing duties, stock and bar upkeep, and assisting in training other staff. This role includes sweet perks and union-friendly scheduling where applicable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of alcoholic drinks and serving in line with PLCB regulations.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

• Knowing the proper preparation of all alcoholic drinks which are on the menu
• Operating the point of sale system
• Understanding and adhering to all accounting and cash control responsibilities within 60 days of hire
• Receiving and storing beverage products in a proper and orderly manner
• Ensuring that glassware and bar utensils are washed and presentable before they are used
• Completing all side work as set forth in the operating standards
• Completing all opening and closing responsibilities
• Ensuring the bar par is adequate and that the liquor requisition is according to standard
• Assisting in the training of other staff
• Completing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Working knowledge of alcoholic drinks, including wines and beers.
• Must be able to service/dispense alcohol in line with established PLCB regulations.
• Must demonstrate a proven ability to work with other employees in a positive manner.
• Should have a proven ability to work in an accurate and safe manner.

Job Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be able to stand for the duration of shift.
• Shifts include weekends, holidays, and late evenings.
• This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
