Job summary

Moonshine Entertainment LTD is seeking a Bartender to create a welcoming atmosphere, greet guests, and efficiently craft beverages in a fast-paced setting. You will handle orders, mix drinks from recipes, and maintain a clean bar while ensuring legal compliance with ID checks.

Qualifications

• Regularly stand and walk for eight to ten hours.
• Must pass State and Federal criminal background checks.
• Alcohol safety training preferred; to be acquired with company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and sells beverages by following recipes and preparation techniques for wines, beers, cocktails and nonalcoholic beverages, adhering to proper handling, dating, labeling and rotation.
• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accurate charges, returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
• Setting up the bar each day; restocking and preparing fresh garnishes and syrups in the prep area.
• Taking and retrieving food orders for those eating at the bar top, and delivering drink orders for servers to tables when needed
• Completes routine cleaning according to list provided for daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, including dishwashing as needed.
• Contribute to daily, holiday, and theme drink menus; informing guests of specials and new drinks.
• Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Checking identification to ensure guests are of the legal age to purchase alcohol.
