Job summary

Default Brand at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Event Bartender to deliver fast, friendly service at concerts, Broadway shows, galas and private functions. You will craft and serve beer, wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, handle a cashless POS, check IDs and uphold safety standards, and help set up and break down bars with a high-energy team.

Join our team as an Event Bartender and help create memorable experiences for thousands of guests at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, The Parker, and Aventura Arts & Cultural Center.

Compensation

• Base Pay $14, plus a great opportunity to earn tips!
• 4 Hour Minimum Shifts Guaranteed

What You'll Do

As an Event Bartender, you'll be at the center of the action by:

• Crafting and serving beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Delivering friendly, engaging service that keeps guests coming back.
• Creating a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment.
• Ensuring responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and following all safety standards.
• Operating our cashless point-of-sale system accurately.
• Setting up, stocking, and breaking down bars before and after events.
• Working alongside an energetic team to provide exceptional hospitality during performances and special events.

We're Looking for Someone Who

• Works well under pressure in high-energy, high-volume environments.
• Enjoys working evenings, weekends, holidays, and exciting live events.
• Has bartending, hospitality, restaurant, concessions, or customer service experience (preferred).
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Can accurately prepare beverages while maintaining quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending, restaurant, hospitality, concessions, or customer service experience preferred.
• Responsible Vendor and ServSafe certifications, or the ability to obtain them within the required timeframe.
• Comfortable operating a point-of-sale (POS) system.
