Job summary

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is seeking an Event Bartender to deliver exceptional guest experiences at concerts, Broadway shows, and private functions in Fort Lauderdale. You will craft and serve beverages, maintain a fast-paced, high-quality service, and work with a dynamic hospitality team at the Broward Center, The Parker, and Aventura Arts & Cultural Center.

This role requires a high school diploma, prior bartending or hospitality experience preferred, and readiness to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred.
• Certified as a Responsible Vendor and ServSafe, or ability to obtain within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Deliver friendly, engaging service that keeps guests returning.
• Create a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and following safety standards.
• Operate a cashless POS system accurately.
• Set up, stock, and break down bars before and after events.
• Work with a energetic team to provide hospitality during performances and events.

Join our team as an Event Bartender and help create memorable experiences for thousands of guests at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, The Parker, and Aventura Arts & Cultural Center.

Compensation

• Base Pay $14, plus a great opportunity to earn tips!
• 4 Hour Minimum Shifts Guaranteed

What You'll Do
As an Event Bartender, you'll be at the center of the action by:

• Crafting and serving beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Delivering friendly, engaging service that keeps guests coming back.
• Creating a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment.
• Ensuring responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and following all safety standards.
• Operating our cashless point-of-sale system accurately.
• Setting up, stocking, and breaking down bars before and after events.
• Working alongside an energetic team to provide exceptional hospitality during performances and special events.

We\'re Looking For Someone Who

• Loves providing outstanding customer service.
• Works well under pressure in high-energy, high-volume environments.
• Enjoys working evenings, weekends, holidays, and exciting live events.
• Has bartending, hospitality, restaurant, concessions, or customer service experience (preferred).
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Can accurately prepare beverages while maintaining quality and consistency.
