Job summary

Broward Center for the Performing Arts is seeking an Event Bartender to provide exceptional service at concerts, Broadway shows, and galas in Fort Lauderdale. The role requires fast-paced hospitality with accurate beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service.

Base pay starts at $14 per hour with tips, and 4-hour minimum shifts are guaranteed. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred to support performances and special events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in bartending, concessions, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• ServSafe certifications or ability to obtain them within the required timeframe.
• Comfortable operating a POS system.
• Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

• Base Pay $14, plus a great opportunity to earn tips!

What You'll Do

As an Event Bartender, you'll be at the center of the action by:

• Crafting and serving beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.

We're Looking for Someone Who

• Has bartending, hospitality, restaurant, concessions, or customer service experience (preferred).
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Can accurately prepare beverages while maintaining quality and consistency.
