Job Summary

Prepare and serve beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Set up and stock the bar with beer, wine, spirits, and supplies.
• Maintain and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Take and process drink orders, mix and garnish drinks, and practice portion control.
• Check guest IDs for proper identification.
• Detect and respond to guest intoxication, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
• Lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, perform cleaning tasks.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize smallwares.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
