Job summary

Montage Deer Valley is hiring a bartender to craft cocktails and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hotel setting. You will interact with guests, take orders, make cocktails, upsell, and maintain bar cleanliness while staying on top of product knowledge.

We value passion for spirits and wine, strong communication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and grow. Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays is required, with benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Prior bartending experience and familiarity with POS systems.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.
• Enjoys spirits, wine, and food.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Interact one on one with guests, take orders, make cocktails, upsell, ensure guest satisfaction and anticipate guest needs.
• Exhibit knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of beverages and menu items.
• Maintain the bar area and stock appropriately.
• Work as a team and communicate with management, bartenders, and service staff.
• Deliver WOW moments for guests.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

Your Journey

• I nteract one on one with guests, tak e orders, mak e cocktails, upsell, ensur e guest satisfaction and anticipat e gues t needs
• Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar , stocking with appropriate products and supplies
• Work as a team and effectively communicating with management, bartenders, and service staff
• Deliver on guests' expectations and h av e the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis
