Qualifications

• 1+ year bartending in high‑volume, premium bar.
• Valid TABC certification (or ability to obtain prior to start); Food Handler certification per local requirements.
• Reliable cash‑handling and POS skills; collaborative with barbacks, servers, and culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Hotel ZaZa standards.
• Provide knowledgeable and engaging service by guiding guests through the cocktail menu, wine list, and specials.
• Maintain full awareness of bar guests’ needs, ensuring timely and attentive service.
• Ensure accuracy in order taking, drink preparation, and a cash/transaction handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, tools, and workstations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking and bar prep as needed.
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with all regulations.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Execute opening and closing duties, including prep and breakdown of the bar area.
• Uphold grooming, uniform and Hotel ZaZa service Standards, including all safety protocols.
