Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and determining beverage preferences to upsell and take orders
• Informing customers about new beverages and specials
• Be knowledgeable of menu items and preparation to answer questions and upsell
• Mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages
• Check IDs to verify legal age for alcohol
• Provide responsible service of alcohol per liquor laws and safety regs
• Take inventory and order supplies to keep bar and tables stocked
• Prepare and serve drinks according to recipes using proper equipment
• Handle multiple tables efficiently and keep tables clean
• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions and balance the register
• Learn bar vocabulary and educate co-workers on wines and drinks
• Perform tasks assigned by management
