Job summary

The Harpeth is seeking a bartender to join our team at the historic Franklin property. You will mix and serve drinks, ensure guest satisfaction, verify IDs, and handle payments while following company guidelines and safety standards. This role supports a high-touch, hospitality-forward environment inherent to The Harpeth’s spirit.

Candidates should have 3–6 months in food/beverage service, strong English, and the ability to lift 20–40 lbs. Join a team that values craft, history, and guest care.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three to six months experience in a food/beverage services environment.
• Ability to lift 20-40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Make and serve drinks following established guidelines and policies.
• Provide cordial, efficient, professional service to guests.
• Check IDs to confirm legal drinking age.
• Ring guest checks and process payments accurately.
• Prepare liquor requisitions and supply lists.
• Maintain liquor pars and ensure compliance with state laws.
