Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Asheville Downtown in Asheville, NC, seeks a friendly bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. You’ll craft cocktails, serve beverages, and provide welcoming guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel setting.

We value attention to detail, strong guest service, and reliable cash handling. The role offers part-time hours with a $7.25/hour base plus tip pool; benefits available for full-time staff, and opportunities to grow within Parks Hospitality Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year bartending experience.
• Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and cocktails.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 21+ to serve alcohol.
• Familiar with POS systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide menu recommendations.
• Prepare and serve beverages following standard recipes.
• Verify guest identifications to comply with state alcohol regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area, including clearing tables and cleaning equipment.
• Monitor and replenish bar inventory; notify management of needs.
• Accurately handle cash and card transactions per hotel procedures.
• Collaborate with barbacks and staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards, including handling cleaning chemicals.
