Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is seeking a beverage server assistant to prepare beverages for cocktail servers and guests, stock and maintain the bar station, and ensure timely service with the correct recipes and standards. Candidates should have at least six months of related experience, be flexible with nights, weekends and holidays, and communicate effectively in English.

• Set-up / Replenish bar station with polished glassware.
• Set-up / Replenish bar station with ice, dry goods, papers, juices, fruits, and garnishes.
• Prepare beverages and serve orders for cocktail servers in a timely manner.
• Prepare quality cocktails, beer, and wine according to standards and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas during the shift.
• Notify management of maintenance issues.
• Complete other requests from management.

Job Description

Prepare beverages for cocktail servers and patrons in a quick and accurate manner.

• Set-up / Replenish bar station with polished glassware.
• Set-up / Replenish bar station with ice, dry goods, paper products, juices, cut fruits, and garnishes for service.
• Prepare and serve beverage orders for cocktail servers in a timely manner.
• Prepare quality cocktails, beer, and wine according to the Hard Rock beverage standards and / or recipes to all servers.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift
• Notify management of maintenance repair issues
• Complete any additional reasonable requests from management.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months of related experience required.
• Able to work a varied work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Be flexible and adaptable to change.
• Adheres to state liquor laws and beverage control procedures that pertain to serving and handling.
• Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional kitchen setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, secondhand smoke and excessive noise.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
