Job summary

Bold Rock is seeking a Bartender to join our taproom team in Charlottesville. You will greet guests, educate them about our products, and deliver outstanding hospitality while serving crafted beverages.

This role emphasizes product knowledge, guest engagement, and seamless collaboration with other team members in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include bartending duties, POS entry, bar prep, and assisting with opening/closing tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for hospitality and craft beverages.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort discussing products with guests.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• At least one year of related experience and ability to lift 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they are seated at the bar and maintain a clean, stocked bar.
• Prepare and serve liquor, cocktails, beer, wine and nonalcoholic drinks.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
• Perform bar prep tasks: cut fruit, make syrups, batch cocktails, etc.
• Open/close duties and assist with other side work; manage keg organization.
