Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Bartender, Banquets, to join our onsite team at The American Club in Kohler, WI. You will greet guests, craft beverages, and maintain bar operations to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requires 2+ years of bartending, 18+ with Safe Serve certification. Hourly pay range shown with tips, plus a $500 sign-on bonus, and on-site benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to obtain Safe Serve License.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Specific Responsibilities

• Greeting guests promptly and proactively with warm welcome.
• Creating a comfortable, relaxing and fun atmosphere, which will encourage repeat business.
• Maintaining positive guest relations and display “spotlight” behaviors.
• Ensuring proper portioning and recipe use for drinks and mixes.
• Keeping bar storage areas clean at all times, and proper handling of glasses.
• Maintaining complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and DWI.
• Maintaining stock, supplies, and cleanliness of bar and equipment as well as following proper rotating procedures.
• Take food orders from the guests at the bar and the dining area and serve per the course of order.
• Performing any other job-related duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Weekdays & weekends are required. Standard hours can vary between 2:00pm and 12:00am.

Skills/Requirements

• Candidates must be 18 years old and have the ability to obtain Safe Serve License
• 2+ years prior bartending experience required
• The ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and/or consistently up to 10 pounds to move objects is required

The hourly range for this position is $9.55 - $11.95 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.Sign On Bonus payment structure is tiered, with payouts contingent on an associate's employment status and hours worked.
