Description

Position Summary

Provides fast, friendly, professional beverage and food services with multiple bars and restaurants. Responsible for crafting and serving a wide variety of beverages while providing exceptional guest service, including preparing drinks, managing the bar area, handling transactions, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations. Collaborates with a dynamic team, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional service to guests by taking orders, making recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Crafts and serves a wide range of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Serves food items as required.
• Prepares drinks with proper pouring portions and ingredients according to recipes.
• Presents drinks to guests or servers as required.
• Sets up and breaks down the bar area at the beginning and end of shifts, including stocking products, changing kegs, and cleaning.
• Checks and reports issues with equipment.
• Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils safely.
• Maintains a clean and stocked workstation following health and safety guidelines.
• Operates POS system accurately and manages cash and credit transactions responsibly.
• Adheres to laws and regulations regarding alcohol service, including age verification and refusal of service to intoxicated patrons.
• Handles challenging situations tactfully and notifies supervisors as needed.
• Completes necessary paperwork and logs, including temperature logs and incident reports.
• Participates in training and attends pre-shift meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• One year of bartending experience in a similar venue.
• Preferred: Two years of bartending experience in a licensed venue.

License/Certifications/Registrations

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must obtain and maintain a New Mexico Alcohol Server's License.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Includes standing, walking, lifting up to 150 lbs, exposure to outdoor elements, and working in various environments. Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, reaching, and handling objects.

The job may require working days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Must adhere to safety and sanitation standards and work harmoniously within a team.
