Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Bartender for Sortino's Italian restaurant to deliver friendly, attentive service and craft quality beverages for guests. You’ll work in a fast-paced, full-service setting, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while upholding beverage standards and safety policies across shifts.

Past experience in fine dining and high-volume venues is essential; candidates should have a bartender’s license and alcohol-safety training.

Qualifications

• Must have a bartender’s license to work in this position.
• State or Local law may require an alcohol awareness/safety class certificate.
• State-certified proper food handling certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are provided friendly, responsive service.
• Greet guests, explain specials, provide menu and beverage tours, and suggest items they’ll enjoy.
• Take orders, input into POS, and relay to kitchen and bar.
• Maintain bar area cleanliness and organization, including glassware and garnishes.
• Monitor alcohol consumption and act to ensure guest safety and company interests.
