Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH, is seeking a Sortino's Italian Kitchen Bartender. You will take orders, pour beverages, follow recipes, process payments, and work with a team to ensure guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years bartending experience, knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor, and can operate a Micros POS and phone system. We offer a competitive starting wage, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of prior bartending experience within a restaurant/resort setting.
• Have a working knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor, common drink recipes and methods of preparation.
• Ability to operate a Micros (cash register) terminal and Phone system.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately, inform them of specials, provide menu and beverage tours, and recommend items/drinks you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and advise on menu changes.
• Answer questions about food, beverage, restaurant functions, services, and resort services and activities.
• Prepare drinks with Kalahari recipes and quantity specifications and deliver food and beverage orders with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Sortino's Italian Kitchen - Bartender. In this role, you willbe responsible fortaking orders, pouring/making alcohol/non-alcohol-based beverages, following recipes,finalizingpayment, and working in a team environment to ensure all guests are being taken care of to the highest standard.
