Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Bartender to deliver friendly, responsive service and craft quality beverages in a high-volume setting. This role supports a world-class guest experience at our Grotto bar.

You’ll greet guests, suggest drinks, manage orders through the POS, and keep the bar area organized while upholding safety standards. Competitive pay with tips and growth opportunities within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Bartender's license is required.
• Bartending experience in a fine dining full-service, high-volume restaurant is required.
• Certificate for an alcohol awareness/safety class may be required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu/beverage tours, and recommend items.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter into POS system, relay orders to kitchen and bar.
• Maintain bar area, keep bar top and well area neat, clean and organized.
• Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption and take corrective action to ensure safety and compliance.
