Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Bartender to deliver friendly, responsive service at our Sortino's Italian restaurant. You will craft quality beverages, engage guests, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience in a fast-paced, full-service setting.

Qualifications include a state alcohol awareness certificate, a valid bartender's license, and prior experience in a fine-dining or high-volume venue. Benefits and growth opportunities are available for full-time associates.

Qualifications

• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class.
• You must have a bartender's license to work in this position.
• Must have bartending experience in a fine dining full-service, high-volume restaurant.
• Prior restaurant/bartender/lounge experience in a full-service restaurant or beverage venue is a must and/or background in the service industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu and beverage tours, and recommend items you think guests will enjoy.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter orders into the POS system.
• Maintain bar area cleanliness and organization, including glassware and garnishes.
• Monitor guests' alcohol intake and take corrective action if needed to ensure safety and compliance.
