Job summary

Westmoreland Country Club in Export, PA seeks aFull-Time Bartender to join our fast-paced hospitality team within Troon’s managed properties. You will stock and mix beverages, handle cash, and serve guests at bar and event settings.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year bartending experience, is at least 21, and provides knowledge of cocktails and wines. Benefits include healthcare, retirement, PTO, bonuses, and employee meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages; assists in cost control and inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control and communicates supplies needed to management.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to management.
• Performs opening/closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Handles checks and cash; uses Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Reviews banquet schedule and events; serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Adheres to safe work practices in performance of duties.
