Job summary

Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, PA, is seeking a part-time Bartender/Server to join a fast-paced hospitality team.

This seasonal role lasts up to 6 months, with compensation of $7.25 per hour plus tips. Responsibilities include serving guests, preparing drinks, maintaining bar cleanliness, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of bartending experience, strong guest service, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending experience preferred.
• Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Maintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper and other supplies.
• Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area(s), glassware and equipment.
• Assures that all laws applicable to food and beverage operations are consistently followed.
• Provides food and beverage service to guests.
• Prepares and serves food as needed.
• Collects payment for food and drinks served.
• Greets and provides immediate attention to guests.
• Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them.
• Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service.
• Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available.
• Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
