Job summary

Caesars Entertainment’s Planet Hollywood Las Vegas is seeking a Bartender Apprentice for Ebony Horse Service Bar. This on-site role supports the Bartender, keeps the bar area clean and stocked, and delivers friendly service to guests throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing and pouring drinks, handling cash with accuracy, and assisting with slot-area transactions when needed. Minimum 6 months bartender or bar apprentice experience, 1 year money handling, beverage

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum bartender or bar apprentice experience.
• At least 1 year in a money handling position.
• Knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes.
• Strong English communication, verbal and written.
• Neat, professional appearance and teamwork.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

• Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators and other bar appliances.
• Acknowledges, greets and converses with customers who approach the bar.
• Prepares and pours all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers upon request.
• Process all cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary changes accurately, while presenting customers with bar receipts.
• Convert cash to coin for any customers playing the slot machines in the bar area.
• Calls a designated slot employee when needed by a guest or bartender.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Bar Apprentice is to provide excellent service to all guests who approach the bar, keeps the bar area clean and always stocked, and assist the Bartender with various duties.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

What You Will Need

• Work requires 6 months prior Bartender or Bar Apprentice experience.
• Work requires at least 1-year previous money handling position.
• Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes.
• Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Work requires interactions with customers, the public and co-workers.
• Work requires teamwork with other staff members.
• Work requires the ability to accurately count money and provide change.
• Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

• Must be 21 years or older
• Alcohol Awareness Card
