Job Description
The Bartender at Belterra Casino Resort is responsible for providing superior beverage service to guests and cocktail servers, ensuring excellent customer relations and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

• Provide excellent customer service and handle interactions professionally, including difficult situations.
• Maintain organization of company funds and equipment.
• Pours drinks according to recipes and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, including “Project 21 – Minors in Casino.”
• Demonstrate product offerings and ordering procedures to guests.
• Monitor supply levels and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Manage the security and accuracy of assigned bank, responsible for overages and shortages.
• Open and close the bar following established procedures.
• Supervise and direct bar attendants as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to mix a wide variety of drinks proficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of bar equipment operation.
• Leadership skills to direct cocktail servers.
• Must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/certifications per federal, state, and gaming regulations, including an Indiana ABC Liquor License.
• Minimum of 2 years’ bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume hotel/casino environment.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Skills are typically acquired through accredited bartending courses or equivalent experience.
