Job Overview:
As a Bartender at Pera, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, flair, and a strong sense of hospitality. You will help create a welcoming and refined bar experience that complements the flavors and spirit of Turkish culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, mocktails, and Turkish-inspired beverages to the highest standards
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar at all times
* Provide guests with knowledge and recommendations on beverage pairings
* Keep stock of bar inventory and communicate replenishment needs
* Ensure all alcoholic service is in compliance with Singapore’s licensing laws
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
* Set up and close down the bar area, including cash handling and daily reports
* Support special events or promotions involving bar service
* Maintain high hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations
* Uphold Pera’s brand values through warm, professional, and culturally respectful service
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a bartender in dining environment
* Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and wine; wine pairing knowledge is a plus
* Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine interest in hospitality and cultural cuisine
* A team player with a positive attitude and excellent attention to detail
* Valid certification for responsible alcohol service (if applicable in Singapore)
